Louisville 48 Hr Horror Film Project 2015
In late 2015 I teamed up with Renegade Art Productions again to take part in the Louisville 48 Hr Horror Film Project 2015. You may have seen my post about the regular 48 Hour Film Project which you can read about by clicking the link. This was the same deal except all of the entries into this competition were horror films.
If you have never heard of the Louisville 48 Hr Horror Film Project 2015, here is a description:
“In a wild, sleepless weekend, you and a team will make a movie–write, shoot, edit and score it. From scratch. In 48 Hours. Then see it on the big screen!”
These projects are always very challenging. The 48 hour time limit forces you and your team to become very good with time management. Of course, before the Friday of the event even gets here, we already have our team selected. We assign everyone their role so there is no question as to who is supposed to be doing what. This helps tremendously!
Then we always try to get the script written during the first few hours of the event. We started filming early, early Saturday morning. The sun wasn’t even out yet and there was fog on the ground.
